Where to book:
For finding dates and availability, I like to use Google Flights. Once I’ve found my desirable dates to one of the three Hawaiian islands, I head over to Momondo to search for the best pricing. I was able to find a few $345 round-trips on a number of OTA’s (Online Ticketing Agencies).
Should I book now or wait?
I think this pricing will be around for a few days, so I wouldn’t stop what you are doing and scramble to book. The thing worth noting is desirable flights are going to become more difficult to find the longer you wait. I already noticed that a few flights had two stops, such as Los Angeles and Honolulu. (you’d catch an island-hopper flight to Maui or Kona).
If you are particular about long layovers or extra stops, I would try to lock something in today or tomorrow. Remember, you have 24 hours to cancel a flight after booking for a full refund.
These are certainly cheap prices to various Hawaiian islands for the Summer. Rarely do you see such widespread availability under $400 round-trip.
